We begin criminal defense cases with a free initial consultation. Once the consultation is complete and we have had a chance to assess your unique situation, we will quote you either a flat fee or a retainer.
If you are quoted a flat fee, you will not need to make any additional payments for representation. If you are quoted a retainer, we will work against that fee at an hourly rate. In the event that a case becomes heavily contested or the issues become more complex than initially apparent, the retainer may be used up before the case is resolved. In this situation, we will either ask you to deposit an additional retainer with our firm or bill you on a monthly basis.
