One of the questions most frequently asked is how much will my case cost? That is a very difficult question to answer. We charge an initial consultation fee for all family court cases. We take initial consultations seriously, as we like to make sure we get to know you well and understand your unique situation before representation is undertaken. After the consultation, we will quote you a retainer fee to retain our firm.
If retained, we will work against your retainer fee at an hourly rate for the attorneys and paralegals who work on your case. The ultimate cost of your case will depend on the amount of time and expense incurred. If your retainer fee is depleted during representation, we will either ask you to deposit an additional retainer with our firm, or we bill you on a monthly basis for work performed.
Additional costs may be incurred if we need to hire experts to determine financial or child custody issues.
